Any ideas on this one.
Decided to install a wallpaper on my connect. Read the manual, usb stick in the computer, formatted it, found some nice ladies or aircraft etc to adorn my screen, did as manual said, JPG files no larger than 5mb and made sure within size limits. Put USB in car, it found stick and it found wallpapers, installed and 'SET' my choice. Done. Now where is it!! Nothing showing. It has them in its memory but i cannot get them to display on any screen other than when ready to 'SET'.

So ........ I then tried the clock screen, according to book you can install a background for the clock screen. This time max 2mb and smaller JPG's. USB in car, menu, customise, display, then according to book install wallpaper but not on mine, nothing. I'm sure I've seen it but now missing. Anybody any clues what I'm doing wrong.

Not too sure on the wallpaper on the connect unit, Might be worth trying a different file and see how it goes.

What I can tell you though - The I-MID can't have wallpapers if you have the connect head unit, hence the missing menu option.
Why they couldn't include it, I don't know...

Depends which skin your using. If it's the default skin, the only place the images will show is if you don't hit ok on the nag screen at startup and it goes to the screen saver.

If you have changed the skin from the default it should show on the main screen where you have all your icons for nav phone ...etc.

I'm sure I tried that but couldn't find the option to install any wallpaper after swapping. Will try again.

Tried that way but not in the original background set up.
Will change it and try again next time in motor.
Weird that in original system it allows you to select and set a wallpaper but nothing changes! Even though in manual it shows you what to do, and it's via the settings, clock/wallpaper route.

Mystery Solved.

Failed to get wallpaper displaying. I'd watched the video and knew I was doing exactly the same but no wallpaper. Then I noticed what I wasn't doing the same.

My photo to crop and install wallpaper.

Your photo to crop and install the photo.

Crop button hidden under the clock!

It took me a while to find when I was doing; Annoying that you can't seem to select the whole image / edges.

Correct. !!
For some reason the left crop does nothing except make you think it's done something whilst the right crop which for me was hidden under the clock will let you crop and install a wallpaper.
