maybe! ythe civic has huge front lights and then you see them at night and they are tiny because they are split into half for low beam etc so i wondered if anyone had done a mod so that the full light is on all the time?
Ahh I see what you are saying! That would be pretty cool actually...

suppose you could try and modify the high beam section of the casing to house a dipped beam bulb and reflector. Unsure where the high beam would then go, I think you need a high beam lamp legally, tested in the MOT.

Or perhaps fit a pair of projector lamps in the headlight housing, one being a single beam and the other being a twin beam one, so you have two dipped and one high?? Maybe one of the russian members have done this, I've seen pics of their headlamp mods on here somewhere.

The only problem would be that the main beam part of the unit probably won't have the correct reflector at the back to be used on dipped beam. Main beam doesn't have the beam alignment as dipped does to prevent dazzling oncoming vehicle. If you run a dipped beam in the main beam unit i would think you'll dazzle everyone all the time.

you're absolutely right I meant that but didn't write it :p you'd have to fashion your own reflector to gain the right cut off.

The twin projector idea might work though as I think you can buy a twin beam projector in one unit?
