Hey hey hey!

I've changed my Perspex grille for the sport one with the silver H.

Question is though, can you fit the red type r H badge to it? Don't worry I'm not making a type r replica I want to put a sticker over it:)

yes you can , you just pop the silver one off and the type r one fits perfect.

theres a couple of people on here that will tell you not to do it as it is "wrong"
one of thhem has a CW ctr. and is disliked a lot.

however i drive a ctr and i couldnt give two splits if you put a red H badge on your car.

why not? everyone else with a civic is making it look like a type R.

Your car, who gives a s**t what anybody else thinks.
Red H does look cool. I've got a red keyback, best check I'm ok to use it. ;)

OP, yes you can straight swap the badge, make sure you get a genuine and for the right model if you go on eBay.

Like I said I only want it to replace it with a sticker over the top, like a grey background or a really dark red. The current one isn't possible to sticker over.
Tbh I think that putting a red badge is a little wrong tbh as it does mean something.

Hearing a diesel chugging along behind a red H is sacrelege! lol.
Also what do I search for to buy this badge? does it just clip in, or does it have a long screw at the back to reach the back of the grill
The red badge is about £50 from Honda mate.

Two locating pins and double sided tape hold it on. Get it bought and stuck on.

Can you link to the one you've got because I'm unsure to what I'm looking for.
I did it check out my avatar, I used superglue to secure it. I took the silver one off and put the red H on!

A diesel behind a red H? Such a sacrilege. Wouldn't catch me doing that ;)

I like the idea of a smokey red badge, signifying the Derv lol
