Any bets on whether we'll have to pay (through the nose!) for next year's motoring?

£270 becomes....

i) £280 ~ 2010/11 to 2011/12 change of £10 (£260 to £270)
ii) £300 ~ 2009/10 to 2010/11 change of £30 (£215 to £245 - those were the days!)
iii) £400+ as Type R drivers are on the hook to delve ever deeper into their pockets to pay for UK Plc's budget deficit...thieving g$ts

Vote...:popcorn2:

Up to the next budget it is £270, delay it past the middle of march then I think it will be under 5% max rise as they have stated some silly rule I cant recall for now!

As ever each budget is only likely to bring a rise, hence why I tax 14 days early every time before my 31/3 expiry :)

Lucky you Fordy...my VED runs out 31/08....so no 'timing' can save me lol!
So 5% you reckon, that'll likely mean £285....not too bad, but the wrong side of £250...

Anyone else concur with that 5% rule?

I can't see 400+ on a 2litre 4 cylinder, i know the bigger engine cars 400+ along with 4x4's too.

If you class your 4x4 as a commercial vehicle you pay normal tax, i was told this by a mitsubishi dealer when i was looking at a warrior
