Hi. Not sure if I can ask this sort of question here.

I'm considering going to look at an Metallic Orange Type S with 50,000miles on an 08 plate at Hendy in Portsmouth. Has anybody else had a look at this car as they've had it for a couple of months or longer? Just wondering if people have gone to look and then walked away when they find nasties with car or service history.

It would save me drive down there!

Oh well, looks as if I'll have to go for a test drive then.

What is there specifically to look out for with the Type S?

I'll need to ask some harsh questions to the sales geezer aswell to avoid sounding like an inexperienced car buying fool

I brought my Type S from Hendy Honda and never had a problem with them. Ensure you have the 1 year warranty minimum, they do a 100 point check and go through it with you. What's the milage? I was after the Orange one! Love them.

Also the spec. Of it's a gt model or not means there will be different bits to look out for (non-gt rust on roof, for example)

Cheers all. It was the Orange 1.8 Petrol TypeS one they have for sale. Apparently they've already taken a deposit so not perusing it anymore.

Orange ones pop up now and again. Don't rush into buying one if you know what you want!
