Hi. When I first got the new set of wheels + tyres, it was on 40 psi so I stuck by it until Honda told me the treads had bumps on them which made the steering wheel shake going 100km/h and over.

My tyres are 35psi all around now. I'm a little confused by what psi it should be at. The manual suggested 35 all around, while websites suggest front tyres should be higher since its a fwd for example, 35psi front and 32 psi rear. I do not want to repeat the same mistake with my new tyres. What are your suggestions on tyre pressure?

Mine have been 35 front and 32 rear since ive had it and never had an issue with normal road use.

I would stick with what the door card says unless you changed tire profile completely, but then again (probably going low profile which would increase psi slightly) them tires would not pass MOT, not here at least

1.6 i-Dtec 2013 Es label on the door says 35 PSI front and 33 PSI rear for normal loading. I checked that this morning because after picking up my car from a main Honda dealer last night, the fronts where only 30PSI and the rear 28 and 29 PSI. So much for pre delivery checks.

They must have thought it was the petrol model.

Reminds me of my 2009 Civic where the pressures ranged from 26 to 39. I thought it didn't feel right.

Some PDI's are just ticks in boxes from a comfy office from what I've seen.

I always run the fronts higher than the rear, unless you're loaded up, there is always more weight on the front, I personally run ~40psi front & ~32 rear.

The tire wear, I would not be sure is related to the PSI... it depends on the wear, for example, with high pressures you'd expect higher tire wear in the middle of the tread, and less at the edges, its reversed when you run low pressures. That is not what you're describing, yours sounds more like "sawtooth" tread, which can be tracking related.
