Evening all..
well, I have a problem in my civic that appeared this week ..
I thought it was the cold weather but not ...
I can not unlock / lock the car with the remote, the red light on the remote don't blink, even with new battery..
The problem is not the key,i think , because I hear a noise during 2/3 seconds, a loud grinding noise from my passenger's door...
The interior handle doesn't operate normally,seems loose and I need to pull it and push the door with some force ...

Any ideas please?

I would get the passenger door card and check the cable from the handle to lock mechanism first. At least it would eliminate that.

Thanks mate, already done this. Cables seems normal to me..
For what i found in my research,could be the door latch assy, maybe faulty...
Anyone had problems with this part?

Weel, the noise is coming from the lock latch mechanism..

I found this, it´s from a RHD civic, but my car it's Lhd...
