Im pretty much set on the following:

Motul RBF600 brake fluid
do-luck/HKS braided lines.

Im a bit stuck on what pads to choose. Im torn between the cosworth streetmaster pads and the ferodo ds2500's

Was wondering if anybody could give me some information on the differences in these pads. e.g

Which last longer?
Which have more stopping power?
Which give off more dust?

any info would be great.

thanks

Cant comment on ferodo but I can comment on Cosworth as I have them

Which last longer? cant comment as brake lines made the difference and Ive only had them 4 months
Which have more stopping power? they certainly feel sharper than stock
Which give off more dust? hardly no dust at all, particularly the rears

Something you havent asked if about brake fade, i have to really push hard to get any brake fade, to be honest to the point your never experience it other than on track after a long drive.

It took quite a while for them to "bed in" and really start to show gains

I'm in the same boat as you fella, I have bought some Brembo discs and Do-Luck lines however I'm undecided which pads to get. It is a choice between the cosworth and ferodo ones, so I would be interested to hear peoples opinions on them both :)

I'm leaning towards the ferodo's at the moment
Me too, although I am being swayed by the fact that I can get them locally for 93 quid.

That's good to know, cheers. I hate cleaning wheels

hey, iv had 2 sets of the ferodo's and now on my first set of the cosworth pads.

So far the ferodo seem to have more bite and feel, also less fade.

I think the cosworths will need more heat cycles to get the best from them but we will see.

The dust is about equal between the two.

Ferodos are about £20 cheaper a set

I changed my mind and went for the Cosworth pads. Will be fitting them soon so I'll let you know what I think :)
