This morning I've found that on the front bumper...

This one was slightly out of his fixation. I put it in place buy pushing on it. It may look that someone took my car as an parking sensor ! [smilie=grrrrrr.gif]

Very sorry for you I-noel!:( These things are bound to happen sooner or later - and the first incident is the worst.
I was reluctant to buy a new car - and this is the very reason.

We all should take a monkey with a gun, that watches our car when we are not around!!

Better make that a trained monkey with a gun (just in case he hits the civic) or better still make it illegal to park within 20m of a spaceship. Sorry for your bad luck i-noel.

On my first car - a Fiat Mirafiori - I had a sticker saying

Sorry to hear of your bad luck i-noel, maybe one day the person responsible for this will get there cumuppance and it will happen to them, however,i imagine it's a 20yr old citroen that did this so they couldn't give a damn....

My wife is always teasing me when I'm looking for a place to park the civic !;)

Not too near of old'n rusty cars or close a entry gate, if possible with free sides so no one can park close the doors and so on...

The problem is I'm living next door of a very good baker open fro 5:30 up to 19:30... and If I'm letting my car parked close my door there are hundreds of cars parking here !

I know it should happen once, that a car cant stay in a perfect condition during my ownership.

Still annoyed with that !

I can see that your brain is coping with the situation now, but not your heart.

The problem seems to be that people have no clue on the size of the car they drive. I put it down to the fact that you can pass your test in a Micra and then get into a Mercedes estate and off you go.

My wife had her rear bumper and parking sensors taken out by someone and she was the only car in the carpark... some people just shouldn't be allowed to drive. (not talking about my wife btw [smilie=cheeky-grin:)

Sadly always the way and is devistating when it happens to your new pride and joy.
Similarly not looking forward to driving mine when I get it - too worried about chips and as I live on country lanes when driving some stupid people looking for a short cut always always drive in the middle of the road - and its 2 lanes - so your going at 30 round a corner and some twit screams by at 60 taking the mirror off - had it 4 times on mt Golf and the Civics wider :(
Would say I would drive nearer the edge of the road but after the first time I drive almost in the hedge's that border the road - Just wish people would show a little more consideration - expecially when driving down country roads with limited visability - other people do actually use these roads - they are not just for impatient drivers.
Anyways rant over ;)
Don,t know if the paint pot would make it look less visable but might be worth a go?

Glad your coming back to us l-noel.

What a rotten thing to happen.

Did they not recognise it as a Space Ship, and that it must not get damaged as it might affect your re-entry!

No scrapes on Millie yet.

Fingers crossed!

I-noel, you have my deepest condolences. :(
This sort of thing should be punishable by 'taser to the perpetrator's sensitive regions.'
