What do you mean by video glasses? You mean the ones that just play videos and give you the impression of watching it on a huge screen?

Definitely expensive! I've heard the Sony ones are pretty decent, but at the price they sell for, i wasn't insterested!

Especially when VR tech is right around the corner!

Those are probably (i may be wrong) going to be really bad. This kind of tech needs to be done right in order to get a decent effect.

I have heard good things about these:

But they are far more expensive. And HD. Those ones you listed are not, and I imagine that shows when you're right in front of the screen.

And those are the old model. The newer model will cost you an extra couple hundred or so.

It's not the kind of tech you can really skimp on, or else it'll get used a couple of times, not be that impressive, and be a waste of £100 :/

Had a quick look and found no reviews or impressions of that model (SGX-52) anywhere. The only FAQ i found was "would these glasses hurt my eyes"....
