came across this on another forum some big claims Vortex raceflo Performance Exhaust for Power and Torque | Vortex Exhaust Technology, Grays, Essex so thought i would post it for discussion

Blimey they are big claims. They reckon they can get an extra 60bhp out of a 120d or an extra 75bhp from a Golf 1.8T, with just a silencer change!!!!:confused2: Really!!

But - if we are at the limit at around 188whp will the exhaust make any difference?

I am a natural sceptic but if you look at the franchise holders there's no real high end well known companies. If this tech was so ground breaking I would expect there to be some well known names in on it.

agreed! surely if these gains were possible every serious tuner would be using them? tdi dont seem to have any affiliation with any brand yet dont use them

Spoke with Spank My Car about the Martelius, he reckons i'll have it by thursday, so i'll fit it saturday and let you lads know whats what !!

I've never heard of Vortex Exhausts over here, their claims seem to be the 'standard' 'ebay style' claims that a small outfit would use IMO.
"10% this, 10% that 30% the other"

I dont mean to slate them, they could be amazing for all i know, but they have little to back-up is all!
