Hi,
Today's run was okay.... 76.2mpg

When it's warmer, I'll try and do 80mpg....

Not bad, for an 8 year old, 2.2 diesel!

Warmer weather = generally dryer roads = faster driving and more VTEC = increased fuel consumption for me!

Is that 80mpg over the entire journey or just reset whilst cruising at motorway speeds for 30 seconds?

Entire journey, reset at beginning. From Stationary to Stationary... no cheating. Included 3 lots of traffic lights (all on red!).... A+B roads.

If that was over 400miles I'd be impressed but 26miles is not a lot is it.

I've always convinced myself that the Civic fuel tank being underbody, thin, wide and long suffers from low outside temps as the fuel never warms and expands.
Not a problem in the warmer months.
