Hi,
I know this is not Civic related but there are plenty of people on here with good knowledge.
I went to see an 54 plate Astra Diesel to replace our company pool car. The car drove fine and looked good. It was a bit cheap for its age and condition which was concerning but not stupidly cheap. The alarm bells really rang when I asked to see the V5C, the car was not in the name of the seller as it was registered to a foreign name and I noticed that it had swapped hands a few times in the last 6 months, the guy said he just never bothered to register it as he was only keeping the car for no more than 6 months. This is when I walked away, but I did notice that the V5C that he had was cut off at the bottom, the section just below the red declaration signature area, the part that says in grey "Official use only - Please do not write below this line" with all the document details. The yellow V5C/3 section was also missing. I just wondered if anyone knew why the grey section would have been cut off.
