Hi guys,
Got my 2.2 mapped and stuff but have breaks (brand new) and they just don't stop the car.

What ones shall I get?
Someone said ferrodo?
I want brakes that are sharp but good price =)

Many thanks
PS does good brake fluid have a significant effect?

How about HKS hoses? They can be had for £125 from TDI (full 6 line kit) and I've not seen any horror stories.

I've gone for do-luck & motul, Mtec discs & yellowstuff on the front & then Mintex on the rear. I've only done 250 miles on them so they're still bedding in. Although they are better than the standard I had on before (and they do improve greatly with a bit of heat in them), they do still seem to lack some initial bite. I've never driven a type R so couldn't say if the upgrade would give me that extra braking force that I'd prefer.

Agree to start with get some lines I have HEL and they are okay. If your gonna track your car go RBF600 or if not and want a little cheaper go Motul 5.1 which still has a high boiling point.
