Yes, look at the Youtube video. I got mine on a BOGOF deal :)

Think the link above will also take you to a video.

Wax Off
We find that not all APC type cleaners and paint cleaners remove old wax coatings, when these cleaners are applied there is still some degree of wax and oil covering on the surface - well not anymore!. Autobrite now have a product that totally strips off all existing wax coating layers from the surface ensuring a wax, grease and oil free surface ready to apply your choice of product. Very easy to use and very effective! Wax Off will dilute up to 5-1.

  • Removes wax coatings, grease, oil and grime from your paintwork
  • Leaves a fresh unwaxed surface
  • Ideal for wax preperation
  • Easy to use
  • Very effective
  • A little goes a long way
  • Concenrated 5-1

I Use Farecla G3 Bodywork Detox (Halfords have it..very good stuff) and follow that with a bucket of warm water with Fairy liquid as a jubricant for a Bilt hamber Clay bar
Finally finish off with a spray of neat APC over the whole car before washing off and drying ready for the polishing stage

For a complete detox I give it a chemical bath do your usual wash regime and before you dry spray some tardis rinse then some fallout remover/ brakeduster wash clay if needed dry and wipe down with IPA...

Probably easier and quicker ways but that's what I normally do when stripping a car and decontaminating it prior to polishing.

As mentioned above there is cleaner polishes, cleansers and dedicated strippers. Just try what works best for you as everyone has there own methods etc...

Its good Ben..Use a fairly strong mix in warm/almost hot water and wear marigolds!!
You will know if the paint is clean. It will squeek
A clay bar will help a lot
If you have it..APC too
After polishing an IPA wipe of the paintwork is a good idea too
Good luck
