The Tegiwa DIY cat kit will fit in this place, just need someone to cut/weld it in, after that it's a relatively easy swap in/out. Here's mine.

Noise is fine even at a steady motorway pace 70mph. I had it on there to pass an MOT last week, no probs with that :)
I know some guys have replaced the mid box with this but like you I wanted to keep noise down, mainly for the MOT.

Laney, did you do and before/after dyno runs when you installed this? I've godda say that Teg Kit price make this very appealing.

I didn't take it on the dyno I'm afraid, my aim was to have something to pass the MOT but the instant it was on I could feel a drop in power once up and past 4500rpm, which was expected with the flow restriction.

yeah not permanent :D so easy to swap out compared to the other option of swapping the manifold out.
