Opened the bonnet to look at my airbox filter to see if it needs a clean (K&N) and found this..

Looks like it's a filtered air feed to the crank case, would it have caused any problems it being off like that? Car was running a bit lumpy from cold possibly more lumpy than usual.

It's a breather. Biggest problem is that will allow the engine to draw in air not passing by the MAF sensor and will run lean as a result. Reconnect it ASAP, before starting the engine.

Idle air assist valve to aid cool running .

Now you have a vacc leak and a crapp idle .

Reconnect it and don't unplug anything 8 you don't know the consequences

Cheers guys, good thing I noticed it, it had popped off by itself. It's back on now and car seems happier.
