Whats the best fuel and oil to use on a Type R civic 2007> Is 95 unleaded ok?

Should run fine on 95 but some prefer 99. Depends on your view on if it's worth the extra 5p a litre. You probably won't notice any better fuel economy or performance.

Oil buy a quality brand 0w 30 fully synthetic.

Seen a few posts on this.

95 is fine as the setup was based on 95. 99 doesnt make much difference from what i have seen.

Oil just go for the best the engine deserves it

5-40 if the engine is abused hard as it will burn off lesser oils. Fully synthetic always preferably ester based such as mogul 300v or Fuchs Titan pro s

The car is setup to run on anything from 90 RON to 100 RON.

When it runs with lower octane fuels it will apply a higher knock retard to the ignition values, so it will run with slightly less ignition advance.

So in essence yes the higher octane fuels will produce more power, but the difference between 95 and 99 RON is probably only about 1 degree ignition so its not huge.
