Been trying to sell my Type R GT for a while now and I'm struggling and I really cant see why! think ive got it priced right but wondered what you guys think - spec as follows -

Albaster Silver - usual spec +

Full Honda Service History - Red velour Type R mats -

I pod connector - Ambient footwell lights

Good tyres all round - Recent rear disks and pads

Bodywork and Interior both in excellent condition

50,500 miles with full Honda service history

I purchased the car from Lookers Honda Derby in October 2009 for 13k.

The next service is due August 2011 and is pre paid under a service plan.

hpi clear

so what do you think its worth???

Cheers

I bought mine (57 reg) on about 35k miles with brand new tyres (Pirelli P Zero's) full Honda service history, brand new Type R mats, 6 months tax, 12 months MOT for £9,500 (bought end of January)

However, the service is due end of April.

I would say that the mileage is a bit of a downer for some people

At that mileage I wouldnt even consider it unless it was less than 8500 TBH.
Even then I wouldnt give it much thought.
You should look at autotrader ot something and see how much they go for private on a 57 with high mileage.

Yep, that sounds about right. Probably 8.5k - £9k for private sale or trade in. Less if you are selling back to dealer for cash. If you're after a quick sale, go for 8 - 8.5k. Otherwise hold out for 9k and you might even get lucky.

In that case you will be lucky to get more than £8,500 for it
