whats the Little Blue/red Light' above the centre console?????

anyone have any idea what and where it is?

Apparently it gives off just enough light to illuminate the centre console. But it looks like it should do more!

It's in the same unit as the cabin lights - but it's very faint - only really visible in total darkness ...
Its a very dim light that is only just bright enough to see the gearstick and see what gear you're in... if you have to look in the dead of night...
They are sometimes referred to as the submarine light
In the main light in the head lining. theres a small grey bit in the middle of the lens, the light comes from that.

And, it's just "pinhole" sized ! ...
it isn't visible on that picture - it's in the main car lights inside the car...
when you get in the caar at night with lights on, look up, and its dead obvious (It's the glowing blue bit)

You can make it a bit brighter by taking the cover off and enlarging the hole using a drill with a wider drill bit and then if you want it more bright you can also change the LEd.
