Apparently it gives off just enough light to illuminate the centre console. But it looks like it should do more!

It's in the same unit as the cabin lights - but it's very faint - only really visible in total darkness ...anyone have any idea what and where it is?
Its a very dim light that is only just bright enough to see the gearstick and see what gear you're in... if you have to look in the dead of night...
They are sometimes referred to as the submarine light

In the main light in the head lining. theres a small grey bit in the middle of the lens, the light comes from that.

You can make it a bit brighter by taking the cover off and enlarging the hole using a drill with a wider drill bit and then if you want it more bright you can also change the LEd.whats the point of having it then lol
