Thinking about getting my OEM 18's done in gloss black to match the GP kit, is there anywhere near Preston thats any good ? I have used WRC in bamber bridge in the past but apparently their reputation has slipped.

Heard very good things about The Wheel Specialist in Manchester. Pricey though as it's a full refurb (not face only).

I had a quote from them and it was about £360 for all 4 wheels done in one day, refitted etc. However, hold out a few days and they will start nagging the hell out of you. Tell them the price is too high and they knocked 25% off for me (so one wheel free). Took it down to £280ish which is still pricey but may be worth it for a quality job. I never took it but I'm still getting weekly emails offering me 'last minute availability' with discounts etc.

£360 is crazy :|

Got a quote to have my full set powder coated with tyres off and everything for £200 from a reputable bodyshop local to me.

Not in/out in a day mind - but this isn't something I'd pay to have rushed.

I'd hope they do take your tyres off to powder coat, lol
