Both will fit and sit really nicely on the civic, should be fine when lowered too. Spigot rings and aftermarket nuts will be required

Stock specs are,

18 x 7.5j
Et 55
Center bore 64.1

for the type r anyway.

thanks but are these measurement the same for the 9th gen

that was for the VTI-L model not the Vti-s. Not sure about the vti-s :(

But those rims will fit fine, might need a hub centric ring tho.

Note that depending on your wheel size, you may need to get your tyre deflation system "matched" to the wheel via the HDS at the dealer. I think the two ranges are 16" to 17" and 17" to 18". This is different to the recalibration you do via the iMid menu. I read this about this somewhere. Going by this +1 fitment should be OK, +2 fitment and the system would probably be out of range and be confused as it monitors the number of wheel rotations on each wheel.
