Long and short of it bud is there is no one here Paul West of TDI North used to come over occasionly to do a few at a place in Armagh but I think he has stopped it.
I tried everyone, ECC, AI, DS,Autotune etc and the way they all wanted to tune Flashpro is fundamentally wrong and unsafe. A few of these people I would also consider friends
Anyone who says about mapping the stock ECU is not worth it either, trust me although Flashpro has its niggles it is the best solution out there at the minute and for some time in the future too id say.
For me you have 3 options.
1) Run the Grp N map preloaded on the flashpro- It's safe, a little too safe to be of any huge performance benefit but the added midrange is great for a plug and play solution.
2) Get a few mods ( intake, exhaust and manifold) get on a boat and visit a UK based specialist, TDI North, TDI South or my personal preference Romain at Eurospec Guildford( he done mine last week- great tune )
3) Get an Etune, If you are anyway handy with FP and the manager software you can use a few forum based guys who will ask for datalogs and send you tweaked revisions until both you and your chosen tuner is happy. I used Chris ( Civic_RSA) on here for tunes whilst I was building my bits together and he is a sound bloke, I would also reccomend Vitviper ( contactabel via here FlashPro Tuning) .
Using the Etune method you will get to between 90-95% of a dyno tune IMO and its a lot cheaper too and with added mods the guys will tweak the map for a few quid inbetween. I still swear by it as an interim measure.
