just got myself an Si...was thinking of changing the wheels....is it better to go to a shop or do it myself? (im a noob at car modifying so bear with me)

Do you mean just unscrewing the wheels and putting new ones on? If yes then just jack the car up, use an axle stand next to the jack in case it collapses and unscrew the alloys with your locking wheel nut key and then pull off..

If you mean change tyres then a garage will have to do it.
