Hi everyone.

Just bought my new FN2 Today but now im looking at the possibility for a turbo kit or supercharger kit.

So first question is, is there a kit out there

how much are these kits going for, either for turbo or supercharger

and which companies are doing these kits.

O and one other thing which one would be the best for just pure pulling power you know when you put your foot down and car just pulls.

Got to say im loving these FN2`s like those triangle exhausts.

So any help would be grateful thanks.

Hi mate and welcome!

Yes, there are SC and TC kits available for supply only or fully fitted. Prices seem to be from £3500 to £5000 ish and about 300 BHP is easily achieved with stock bottom end and gearbox I believe.

A few members here have em so they'll be able to go in to more detail than me. Companies like CPL or TDI can supply/fit one for ya.

Jackson supercharger is the way to go for fit and forget power... combined with supporting mods like exhaust manifold and a good induction kit and catback you will be more then happy and also return good fuel economy. call cpl racing i think they have a good deal on this set up at the moment. :) It cost far more to achieve 300+bhp N/A than it will with a charger and you will be fitting all the wrong parts if you want to ever change to boost it will cost twice as much.

No im being serious actually dezikid.

I was looking on american ebay at all the different turbo kits for the si.

so if i started buying parts individually, second hand etc like intercoolers, boost pipes, turbos, all that jazzizzle.

What would b the best turbo to get?

I was thinking garrett t28 bearing or something.

would i need some sort of vacuum system on the turbo? with solenoids etc? i see a lot of the kits dont have this?

you need (atleast) an exhaust manifold, turbo, downpipe, intake, intercooler, lots of piping, ECU remap, injectors, possibly stronger fuel pump, oil and water lines for cooling the turbo (or oil only depending on what turbo you go with). That's from the top of my head.

The last place i'd be looking for this is Ebay. Call a specialist and save your car!
