Hey all

Not posted on here in a while!

So I'll start out by saying I know naff all about car mechanics so please excuse my extremely amateur way of describing this.

Basically over the last few months I've been getting an intermittent 'whooshing' sound from the car as I drive. Basically, as I reach around 30mph the car sometimes starts going 'whoosh whoosh whoosh' and it sounds like it's coming from something turning consistently.

I've asked my local stealers to check it out while it was in for a service, but of course the noise didn't happen when they took it for a test spin.

I know this is a dreadful explanation but if anyone has any ideas what this could be so I can pass on some better suggestions to the garage that would be great! It seems to have gotten slightly worse over the past month or two, and I'd rather get it sorted before the car conks out.

Many thanks :D

I have an similar intermittent noise from what appears to the the air con or heating system. Try switching heater off may help diagnose problem?
