They will sit out 23mm further. Centre bore of fn2 is 64.1 so you need spigot rings.

whell that dident help much as it dosent say how much space i have free with original rims/tires...
i have not the originals either right now as car is on lift in the garage without anny wheels on and the originals are sold.
spigot rings is no problem to fix... but the question is if the wheels will go to far out?

Not quite sure what you want to know as that link should give you all the info you need regarding where the wheel will sit. 225 tyres will fit on 8j rims no problem. As I said before the wheels will sit 23mm further out (17mm from the et change 55 to 38 and 6mm from the rim change 8j from 7.5j i.e. 1/4" each side = 6mm each side. The inside of the rim will sit 11mm further away from the car. The link even shows you a diagram for comparison. It will fit but you need to decide if 23mm is too far out. I would hazard a guess that the fronts will be close to being outside of the wheel arch or close to it

Your alloys are ET38 which I believe is the maximum offset you can go running 225/40/18 tyres, they will go right out to the edge of the arches depending on the width of the alloy - if they are 8J it should sit almost in line with the arch

This is a guess at the reply you are looking for

You'll be fine.

My wheels are 18x8.5 ET 45. 7mm less on the ET but 5mm more on the width of the wheel. So that would make your wheels sit approximately 2mm wider more than mine.

I'm lowered 15mm on front, 20mm on rear and have no problems except for big holes which make the tyre slightly catch the arch. Nothing major.

Car will look weird if you have this width wheel and not lowered IMO.
