Alright guys,

I purchased an Excedy clutch kit from one of these known parts places due to a big discount code. After putting in my plate and picking it up, them saying its for 2006-2011 civic FN2, I see later on the Excedy label on the box with 'HCK2052' which is for EP3 and so, not the 'HCK2057' FN2 kit. So is this still gonna work fine when I take it in to be fitted?

Excedy is same as OEM, and both Honda and Excedy clutch kits are listed on Ebay etc as working for both EP3 and FN2, and it is a k20 engine so whats the difference? Excedy themselves say the clutch and bearing are the same but the pressure plate is different and recommened using the correct kit, so do I need to get a new pressure plate or will it still work?

Cheers for any help.

It's good that Excedy replied with such useful info, why aren't you taking them at their word tho?

As it's clearly not the part you requested and the manufacturer confirms this, can't you return the wrong clutch? or swap it for the correct version?
