Its that time of the year again when the weather is changing and we should all be considering what additional precautions we should be looking at with regard to the safety of ourselves, our cars, our passengers and our lovely alloy wheels.....

Following lots of interest over the last few years in Winter tyres and personally using them on my own FN2 for the last two Winters I can 100% vouch for how they transform the car once temps get below 7 degrees C. We have done our homework and fit checks and can now offer the following for all you Civic owners.

We now have in stock and available the following Winter wheel / tyre options for all EP3 & FN2 Civic Type R, 2.2D etc

FN2 TYPE R
225/40x18 Yokohama W-Drive to fit OE 18” Wheels @ £149 including VAT
16” Steel wheel & Falken Winter tyre package (Set 4) @ £599 including VAT
(fitted with 205/55x16 94V XL Falken HS439 Winter tyres)

EP3 TYPE R
215/45x17 Yokohama W-Drive to fit OE 17” Wheels @ £130 including VAT
16” Steel wheel & Falken Winter tyre package (Set 4) @ £599 including VAT
(fitted with 205/55x16 94V XL Falken HS439 Winter tyres)

16" Steel wheels are available seperately if required

We curently have six full sets of the 16" wheels & tyres available so these prices are only whilst stocks last! The colder it gets the higher Winter prices get from the manufacturers!

Fitting price for the wheel/tyre package in our workshop @ £20 including VAT
Shipping price for the wheel/tyre package (UK Mainland) @ £40 including VAT
Or obviously you can come in and collect them from us!

These wheels will fit all FN2 & EP3 Type R along with any other Honda model using 5-114.3 PCD fitment (2.2 Diesel etc)

The steel wheels use the original Honda radius seat wheel nuts.

They will not fit cars fitted with large brake kits (Stoptech etc).

Any questions please just give us a shout on 01270 567177.

Answers to a few commonly asked questions:
We don't (nor do any tyre manufacturers) recommend just fitting a pair of Winter Tyres on the front - THIS IS DANGEROUS!
The 16" Steel packages fit all Type R models, 2.2 Diesel and other spec Petrol Civics.

Cheers, Chris

" lower spec Civics " !!!

Eekkkk - apart from the BHP, my Civic has the highest possible spec !

Never insult a Gentleman's Tasteful Horseless Carriage - you sir, are a Cad and a Bounder

Only OEM Alloys for my 'winter shoes' :D

P.S. - now that my Milltek is properly bedded in / carbonised, the sound is SO good
