Has anyone got fitted a non-honda wiper blades?

It's not worth messing about with non-standard ones mate....They are a surprisingly reasonable price from Honda - think mine were £20 for a front set

yes i havve fitted michellins aero ones , its slightly shorter on passenger side, but the drivers is original from honda due to it being the correct length for the auto wiping sensor .

Yes, I fitted a pair, and to be honest the non original part stuck out like a sore thumb. I ended up bying an original honda part.

I found with my previous car, a Golf, non standard blades were pretty noisy so I have always tended to go for the manufacturer's own brand since then - a few quid more but worth it.

The one's I've had trouble with in the past are Halford's own brand and a set I bought from a local auto spares shop - didn't recognise the brand!

Bosch are at least a good make but would they be any cheaper?

I can't say for UK but they are more expensive overhere compared to Honda wiperblades that ara available from dealers. The exact model is Bosch A392S, and here is a original thread.

I have just bought bosch from halfords for £26 with trade discount. Seem really good and no noise.
If only I priced up Honda ones first.

I went to buy from the local Honda dealer in Manchester. They told me that they couldn't supply them but could supply and fit for £25!

20mins later I was driving away with the new wipers.

bosch ones are ironicaly more expensive per pair than gen honda

£11 each honda

i found the bosch made the wiper arms sit a little higher off the screen which didnt look right to me- cant remember if they blocked the path of the washers too

Keep in mind that you can order only RUBBER to change, not whole wiper.
Much cheaper.

I haven't tried them myself yet, but these are getting great reviews on some forums. One guy reckons he still gets the same performance as new from them after having them fitted for 3yrs. Expensive, but...

Keep in mind that you can order only RUBBER to change, not whole wiper.
Much cheaper.

not in uk- complete blade is cheaper than rubber only

complete blade= £10.99 each
rubber only= £14 & 12 each

Bosch wipers are about 25 € in Germany. But they start to rattle at about 160 km/h. Their "wind-wing" (don´t know the word sry...) is only as half as big as the original ones.
