cant see any reason to supply such a kit
if you were racing and wanted to remove the rear wiper id say just get a suitablt grommet to cover the hole left
but for road use why bother removing it
I remember the 8G posts where a rear wiper was wanted by quite a few. It never bothered me. Even on my 9G I don't really see the point as the area it sweeps is too high to be of any use.
I think if I wanted it gone I'd just remove the blade assembly and try and spot a cover for the post. That way the blade could be re-attached easily.
I don't want one on my 8g... there's simply no need. The only possible exception, is when it's raining, and you might want to reverse, but I have wing mirrors, so there's no issues at all.
Based on the wording & context of the rule it would apply to front windows only, so you'd probably be ok.
Personally though, removing it seems a bit pointless - Even if you don't use it, it isn't really an active hinderance, and would probably be an annoyance come selling time.
Further to that, We're in summer at the moment, so it may be worth waiting for some worse conditions to see if you really don't use it - Better to have and not need IMO; I use mine on the 9G not only when it rains and I fancy some extra visibility, but also for the washer, which is quite useful if the rear window is dusty or otherwise obscured..
Oh, And based on profile OP is in Norway so MOT doesn't matter
You may have luck with CTR Parts; I know the FK2 CTR doesn't have rear windscreen wiper / washer.
Update: So I talked with HondaPro Jason, and asked what he used for his Type R. I have now purchased the same kit as him from Garage 16.
Have not had time to try it yet, but will do soon
