Evening all and apologies if this has been covered in here before but I don’t seem to be able to find a definitive answer.

I’ve just moved over to a 2006 Civic EX and this has the usual issues with the Bluetooth etc module, so this has been disconnected and I’m left with no way of currently connecting my phone to the car.

My previous car was a Jazz GD and I put a unit in that which gave you Bluetooth via the CD changer port on the back of the headunit.

I understand that a ‘Y’ cable is the way forward with the Civic when it comes to adding in extra sound sources and that you can buy other interfaces to plug into this.

What I’d really like to be able to do is connect the interface I’ve removed from the Jazz to the car so can anyone please advise which pin relates to what on the socket you use the Y cable with.

That and whether there’s anywhere that will sell you a male wired plug which you could patch the Bluetooth interface onto so the Y cable could remain unmolested.

Thanks ?
