Ive been tempted to go low & wide, but would they fit? More importantly would the wheels just be lost in the arches or would it look good?

Trying to go for the Euro look with the stretched tyres and low stance? I personally think 16s will look lost in the arches, even alcarp's 17" white enkeis look a little small and that's with a 30mm drop

Im kinda thinking that & I agree on alcarps 17s.

I had been thinking about 8.5x18 as thats the only way to fill the arches without resorting to spacers

Ive got 16" alloys for my winter tyres and they do fit, there is about 1/2 and inch of clearance on the brakes.

16" will fit. ;)

I don't like euro look... If I had a VAG maybe, but not for my Honda.

Be carefull with the wheel offset as you could have problems with the fenders.
