Bought the Xcarlink USB expecting 6 Folders and only 99 in each.

Surprised to say it recognises 10 Folders (CD01-CD10), but even better no 99 track limit!

I put 1,432 in CD10 (Which comes up first) and it plays them all.

It does skip from say 599-601, no '00' displayed so theoretical limit is 9900? Well, more than enough. There are 10 folders remember

If you play track, say 732, it will flash 07, then 32 a few times then settle to just 32. Nice feature, shows you where you are but without being unduly distracting.

Sounds superb too with good quality MP3's

Interesting info - I've never tried to add more 'CDxx' folders. Did you try more than 10?

I tried 12, it only picked up 10.

Only downside I've found is that random play is switched off everytime I turn of the car.

Just press the random button on the Head Unit.

This is something I've just started experimenting with - I'm up to 13 folders without problems. The folder numbers aren't displayed correctly but they play fine...
