Had a few... In a rough chronological order:

Nissan Almera 1.4: First car...
Citroen ZX 1.9 non turbo diesel: Awful, disgusting build quality.
Diahatsu Applause 1.6: Strangely good in a very sanitised boring way.
Fiat Uno 1.1: Choke gave you a small turbo like boost, utter trash to drive.
E30 BMW 316i: Good car for someone young to have.
E30 BMW 318iS: Better than the above.
E30 BMW 325i but with an M50 24v from a newer car: Excellent but still held back by the awful rear suspension and 4 turns lock to lock of the E30. Would never have another E30 now.
A Citroen BX. Bought it for a joke off eBay, lasted about 3 days before the suspension popped and left the car riding millimetres off the road. Hopefully the fluid didn't injure a random biker...
Ford Puma 1.7: One of the best handling cars I've driven, shame about the poor engine.
Toyota mk1 MR2: Wonderful fun, handled like a little b*tch on Russian remoulds.
Toyota mk1 MR2 Supercharged: Extremely rare machine, great for the single day I had it fully fixed until the head gasket popped...
Citroen Xsara VTS: Rubbish, no idea why I went French again after the others.
BMW E36 328i Coupe: Great car, looked good, comfortable, fast but had HGF!!
BMW E36 323i Coupe: Bought for parts for the other car.
Honda Civic mk6 MB6 VTi: Really enjoyable, stainless manifold and exhaust. Sounded great but the peaky engine didn't take my fancy long term. Sometimes wish I kept it.
Skoda Octavia vRS: Competent but boring.
Diahatsu Charade 1.0: The Noddy car, as bad as you would imagine a small city car to be. However a full tank of fuel was £30 in 2013 or something which is bonkers.
Alfa Romeo 156 2.5 v6: Nothing quite like the engine however the below steals the show.
Alfa Romeo 156 3.0 v6: Chance came up to get this, it's the engine Alfa Romeo should have put in the 156. Steps on the toes of the GTA as it is only about 20 or so bhp down. Have had it over six years and I was going to upgrade to a Golf GTi or a Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV however for me the venerable Busso engine is the one I've been looking for. It's an engine that does no wrong in my eyes. Sounds good, looks good (no plastic covers, chrome inlets etc), smooth with great power delivery and revs despite it's size. Even driving it at low speed it gives a sense of occasion nothing else I've owned does. But that's quite enough talk of it for now!
Civic mk8 1.8: Current daily due to not finding anything else there to replace the Alfa with as a performance car. Probably best all round car I've owned out of the huge list, has enough of everything and transports the family around in comfort without breaking the bank.

Have also had a mk1 1.6 Focus and a mk1 1.0 Toyota Yaris for wife to learn in but both have died prior to her passing her test....

Did you get bored quickly, I think I've had less hot dinners in that time.

I had a 55 reg 1.4 Zetec as a commuter doing an 80 miles round trip to back up the main car a few years ago.
Bloody brilliant little thing, took all I threw at it for a year then passed it to my son who did the same for another year.
BTW learned to drive in a 957 cc Mk1 Fiesta back in 1980

I loved the ST line and it was brilliant as a daily driver 👍🏻 66 plate, 3 door in dark grey with alloys colour coded, had all the toys and it had the 1.0 eco boost engine knocking out 140bhp. It was fast, comfortable, reliable but it wasn’t a Civic 😉 the zetec wasn’t bad either, same engine just in 120bhp form, those extra twenty ponies made a big difference in the ST
