i have to say your website is not user friendly, i used it about 10months ago for a quote and was told you could'nt insure me on my 1.8. i have tried today and for some reason it doesnt like my password, i tried to reset it but it says you dont have a question for me?!! i could just call but im not going to do that on my mobile as most people like me do it at work thats why online is the way to go. Just thought i would share as i was happy to give it a try.

Hi Regan,

Thanks for taking the time to post.

Apologies for the belated reply, as today is my first day back after the Christmas and New Year period.

The password that you used at the time should be valid to re-access your details and submit a further application.

But the error message that you encountered when resetting the password seems to relate to the original registration detail not being completed with a security question (mothers maiden name, favourite restaurant, pets name etc).

This is easy to rectify and can be done within a minute if you can call our office. Who will be able to reset the password and set up the respective security questions.

Alternatively, if you could provide me with the original quotation reference, your actual name, postcode and a replacement password via PM I can reset the password for you. Which will allow you access to your existing record to enter a new application.

Kind regards & best wishes for the new year.

Tony

Hi Regan1985,

Just a further update for you.

Our systems people found that there had been a bug present in the December version of our web site that did not forward the 'recover password' properly.

It sounds as though you may have fallen foul of this at the time.

This has been corrected by our developers, so this will help password recovery for any future online applications.

Kind regards

Tony
