Just completed a 7 country 3200km drive in the Civic..
Its been on narrow town cobbles, winding mountain passes, country roads, Autobahn and even did 1 lap of the Nürburgring, which was a very special moment to be able to take my 85yr old Mum on the lap with me, something I've wanted to do for years!
So how did my 2006 Civic cope?? Never missed a beat, was super comfortable, never felt underpowered and still looks fresh parked alongside the bars and restaurants around Lake Constance!
Really proud of the little car, was loaded up with all sorts of things and just took it all in its stride.
If you have a Civic and think, oh its getting on a bit, just get it booked on a road trip, I will be taking the Megane back to the ring next week but honestly I'd gladly load up the Civic again and head off asap.. I may need to start planning!
