Adding Bluetooth connectivity

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been done to death, I have read into it but its majorly confusing.

The end goal is very simple, phone stays in pocket and music is streamed to the car via Bluetooth and controlled on the screen and/or by steering controls, same as any modern OEM head unit.

How do I achieve this?

Do I need a double DIN head unit and if I go ahead with that what will I lose, the top left hand screen with Climate Control information and steering audio controls?

Is there a plug into standard head unit option and if so what is it because I am really struggling to find something that wont require me to change tracks using the phone?

Help appreciated!

Cheers

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not sure thats what I'm after as I would have to plug the phone in, I can do that now with the AUX.

You can also install yatour same as xcarlink.

If you go for double din then you need connects2 kit and won't lose steering commands or display. We all with double din have this kit installed since you get everything in it for connecting new HU

Thanks, can you recommend a fascia and head unit?

All I'm after is the Bluetooth connectivity

Honda fascia is best fit but is bit pricey. You can buy also full kit from connect2 with fascia included. Fascia from connect2 is ok for price asked. Look on foru how looks and how is installed. Almost all new HU's have BT as standard. Also look on civinfo fb page or here in selling maybe somebody is selling full kit with HU for good price. I have Pioneer AVH2700BT which I hot in some compesation so didn't cost me anything and does really good job.
