I haven't got a clue because I've never had that problem.

Yeah, I took the bulb out, but the alarm seems to have discharged my battery.

Have you checked to see if there's a switch on the latch mechanism yet?

Well that's certainly an indepth investigation and a bit over my head. I heard something similar years ago when a vectra wouldn't start due to something happening with the boot lock.

Hopefully your issue stays fixed.

Thank you, all seems to be ok now. Thank goodness.

I ordered an Honda diagnositc system clone which just arrived a few days ago, I haven't tried it on the car yet but will be interesting to see what info and things I can play around with.

Yes there is a bodywork option in the menu on that I think. Would be interesting to see.
