Hello Community,

I've run into a problem. The car won't start. I have to use the battery booster to turn engine on. After the engine is running I can't drive it because when rotating the steering wheel the dashboard switches off. OBD2 scanner is showing P0685 erro code.

I've attached few pictures to show the fuse box. That looks okay. And screenshot of the error.

Below is the link to YouTube video I've uploaded showing the problem in action.

YouTube video link

Below is descriptions of the video from YouTube. I thought I'll add it as there is more information about the problem.

"My car won't start. This video was filmed to show what happens after the car is turned on with battery booster and left to run for 15min. The moment the steering wheel is rotated the dash switches off. When at higher RPM the problem seems to go away. Later in the video I try to start the car again after switching off the engine and it won't start. All the lights flash. The OBD2 scanner is showing error code P0685."

Has anyone had this problem before? Any ideas where I should start in fixing this problem.

I do think there is a solid electrical problem in the car. For a while I would get high frequency low volume sound coming out the speakers. It increases as RPM increase. Been thinking that it's the alternator but haven't changed it. Not sure if this new problem is related.

Any Honda specialist in South West of London?

Any support is much appreciated.

Thank you all.
