Hi guys, was thinking the same for my sport, just different on the door steps, similar to the blue but in red, i have seen that you can get them slightly cheaper direct from japan, also looking at the illumination on the centre consol just by the gear shift. Were there any pics posted after as would love to see everything lit up.

The foot well lights plug unto the loom behind the head unit and into the head unit itself by the looks of things, according to the pdf file i have.

Devising a wiring harness shouldn't be too hard to copy from a genuine one, just the problem of getting hold of the om plugs as we know you cant get them without buying a new kit.

There seems to be two types of illumination to what i can gather, one US spec and the other EU spec, the US spec one has a bit more commitment to dash stripping, i think this is down to the way the lighting can be controlled by the dash light dimmer.
The EU spec seems to be just a simple bright when the doors are open and a simple dim when the lights are operated not being able to control brightness by the dash control unless im wrong of course.

Hi Rick, i had a look at your kits on ebay, i'm really tempted in buying your kit, its a really cool idea that you can control the brightness with a remote without affecting the main dash brightness like it does with the Honda kit.

So does anyone know if the centre consol illumination kit is available in the uk? If so how much does it cost? Part number is 08E16-TEA-110A. How does it look when fitted? Sorry for all the questions lol.

Just had my door step illumination kit turn up today, maybe i could do a step by step guide to fit including Ricks kit too if Rick doesn't mind of course, my kit includes the rear door steps too but these are not illuminated unfortunately.
