The headlamp aim is probably too low (mine were woeful when I picked it up and had supposedly been adjusted correctly!).
The HID's are self levelling but the basic setting can be adjusted via a set of screws on the headlight unit itself, after which the self levelling will do it's job.
As a start I'd park your car facing a wall, maybe 5 yards off it in the dark, turn on the ignition and lights and then open the boot and stand in it - you should see the lights raise as you get in then re-lower as the self adjusters work. Then get out and check the reverse is happening. If it is then the adjusters should be working OK so then you only need to change the basic setting.
Open the bonnet and on the top of each headlight you should see a couple of white allen head screws facing upwards. One does horizontal and one vertical but the are clearly marked on the slam panel as U D (up down) and L R (left right). Simply tweak the U D one accordingly on both sides. Assuming your headlamps are aligned (but low) simply count the number of turns you do one and do the other the same. Do it incrementally until you get a better illumination with the beams still dipping and not blinding oncoming drivers.
This may also help you find the adjusters:
