How many tried bleeding the clutch properly flushing all the old fluid?
My clutch was slipping under load constantly apart from maybe once or twice first thing on a morning it would grip. .. ish
Going down the motorway in 6th 2/3rds throttle was enough to make the clutch slip so it was definitely jiggered.
So last ditch attempt I bled the clutch with my other half.
(Look for the bleed nipple on the front of the engine/g-box attach pipe fill the tiny reservoir get your helper to hold the clutch down, open and close the nipple then your helper will need to physically lift the pedal back up.
Anyway once it's nice again, go for a drive, even TRYING to make it slip, it won't! Winner.
Traffic was horrid this morning so the clutch got well warm and well used, last part of the journey duel carriageway full chat up to an undisclosed speed. No slip.
So question is, who tried flushing/bleeding the clutch before deciding the clutch was buggered?
