Battery replacement with stop start

Hi all,
Need to replace the battery on my mum's 2016 crv. Cox looks to be one of the cheapest by some margin and would hopefully be decent quality.

The crv has the stop start tech so I'm wondering if a simple battery change is as straightforward compared to a normal car. Is they're any recoding that had to be done? Anything needing specialist tools or diagnostic equipment?

I've got spanners but nothing software related.

Thanks.

Had my battery changed on 9g civic 1.6idtec few years ago after original varta died week after 3 year warranty expired. Went for gsfcarparts and with online discount got Yuasa 096 7000 battery with efb/ start stop for just over ÂŁ100. So far cant fault it. Plus 4 year warranty on it so cant complain.
As for changing it its direct swap. Efb is designed for start stop so i would go with it.
Before changing battery:
make sure bonnet open,
car locked,
keys away from car atleast 10 metres,
wait 10 min for ecu to go to sleep mode.
Then old out- new in. And you good to go.

Changed mine not long after I bought my CRV as it had been sat in The car people's forecourt for over 6 months so the battery had dried up. The Cox honda one is the OEM honda battery and is suitable for stop start tech. No requirement to recode anything just take out the old battery, install the new one, be careful not to short anything out or do anything which might damage the ECU. I tested my new battery on the charger before fitting it as I seem to recall reading somewhere that it's a good idea to charge a new battery before fitting for optimum longevity and performance but it was fully charged when I connected it up to the charger. Have had it in 3 year now and it's been spot on. Apparently with all the tech on modern cars and stop start batteries now last around 5 year before they start drying up and loosing capacity so I wouldn't splash out on something super expensive.
