Burned abs vsa module

Hi for some time I have been trying to figure out why my VSA/ABS warning lights have been on.
I had a blown fuse under the hood for the vsa/abs and when I put the new one in I got more warning lights on the dash power steering, airbag, engine, and all gauges stopped working.
So I took the fuse out again and the gauges started to work again.
So I tought I would have a look at the abs vsa module only to find the connector completely burned and scorched marks on the module it's self. See pictures.
Would anyone have any idea why this would happen ? Or is it general failure? I do notice the window washer motor is right under the connector really doesn't seem like the best place to out that.

I had the same problem on my Hyundai Getz about 2007, at the time a few manufacturers had the same problem - Citroen and Vauxhall , but it wasn't publicised too much , apart from news items of cars catching fire. My abs caught fire at about 3 -o clock in the morning , this was some time after Hyundai had applied a fix , which obviously didn't work !
Eventually they found a poor earth to abs module was causing the overheating and fire, and this fixed the problem.
In my case they had to replace abs module, various looms in engine compartment, and a driveshaft. The fire extinguished itself, and I only knew about it because the alarm went off , and car was actually driveable ! I didn't notice for a couple of days until I saw some melted plastic on my drive under where car was parked.
Anyway , cut a long story short, ABS takes a high current , so earth is very important, you don't want it going again .!

Luckily it did not catch fire wile you where driving. I will definitely have to get a wiring diagram and find where all the ground points is on the civic because I will definitely be worried that it would happen again. Surely honda have to know that there abs vsa system is a bit rubbish from sensors to the pump/module it's self as there is so many posts and videos relating to it on the internet.
But thanks in planing the idea that it could be a ground that caused the issue in my case I will definitely be investigating this for sure.
