First port of call - I'd check your battery condition, always a good idea to rule out with modern vehicles when you get electrical weirdness - I also have a Land Rover Freelander 2 where it is THE 1st diagnostic step for gremlins, in my case the ICE/satnav system was being very odd - solved with a new battery (the FL2 is much more demanding on its battery than a Civic tho to be fair).

Tyre pressure & ABS are linked I think on 10th gen as they are on 8th & 9th (I imagine a Mod will be along later to move your Q to the 10th gen section) I'm sure others here will be able to help out with a path to follow to hopefully get to the bottom of your problem (y)

When I had a problem with my alarm, I called the AA. First thing they did was to remove a lead from the battery to reset the system. After reconnecting the battery a few minutes later, the dashboard lit up like a Xmas tree. The AA patrol man, turned the steering wheel lock to lock 3 times (ignition on but not started). This turned off most of the dashboard fault lights and the rest reset after a short drive.

We have a 2019 1.0L. And about 18 months ago pretty much every orange symbol on the Instrumentation Panel illuminated and remained lit, whenever the engine was running. So we took the car to the local Honda Dealer, who reported “right rear wheel speed sensor failure” (code c003a-14). And replaced the speed sensor in the offside rear wheel.

Now when the engine is running the Driver Information Interface continuously cycles through a series of warning indicators symbols, with a ping each time the displayed symbol changes. Just took the car round to our friendly, local mechanic, who put a scanner on it and found that the car is reporting failure of the speed sensor in the nearside rear wheel.

Having read the post “ABS/Speed Sensor - Triggering all warning lights” (Aug 24, 2023), I checked the terminal voltage of the Battery. Which is 12.3V when the engine is off and 14.6V with the engine idling. Which seems healthy. So it looks as if the solution to the problem will be to replace the speed sensor. And has left me wondering if the speed sensors were from a flawed batch?

Does anyone know if these Speed Sensors are only available from Honda Dealers?

When needing sensor for my right rear wheel, I could not find any alterantive. Probably because Honda wanted to save some wiring harness and plugs. The connetction between the ABS sensor and car body is also containing the wires to the electric parking brake. So the set does have 3 connectors.
Probably it is poor ABS sensors, like someone wrote here: Now you have changed the sensor for one back weel, then you know that you are soon going to change sensor on the other wheel too!

Thank you for the reply, LaRy.

I thought that I would phone our local Honda dealer for a price. But before doing that I tried searching ‘e-bay’ for the Sensor. And I found 23 Listings offering shipping from the UK. All a similar price. With the cheapest (just) being a listing for “New ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Rear Left #47560-TBA-T01 For 2016-2022 Honda Civic UK” for £26.37. So I am going to ask our friendly, local mechanic what he thinks of this, with a view to purchasing one and arranging for him to fit it.

I used your part number and looked at the pictures, It is looks like it should fit. Anyway, if not buying an original one, i would be prepared to pay more if I could find one from Hella, Bosch or some of the more famous manufactures. The inductive sensor is maybe looking ok, but what about the quality of the output signal
