Hi, is it normal that engine temperature gauge is bit below middle or should i worry?

Thats exactly where my needle sits.

 

Same position as my diesel Accord. I assume that diesel Civics have the same reversable aircon as Accords to boost the interior heat-up times when it's really cold?

Same in petrols too.

Keep an eye on it.

Nothing more worse than a bad thermostat that is open and prevents your engine from getting to temp.
