Goodyear AS5, good grip dry/wet, wear well, noise fair. Have plenty of faith in these tyres when having fun, can push the car and don’t have to worry as the grip is very substantial in/out of corners and can push hard.👍👍
I have AS3 on front and as5 on rear at the moment, going for PS4 next, just for comparison as never had these before, Michelin PS4's and Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersports, all mentioned are great choices.
I use EfficientGrip for the Civic as the Eagle F1 don't come in 16".
Also I use the Eagles in my other car.
They've always been excellent tyres over the years and undercut their other premium rivals.
Dry performance will be good in most tyres even the cheap Chinese brands and even with bald tyres.
It's the wet weather performance that really means something, my Civic had cheap tyres on when I first got it and it was skittish in heavy rain so off they went for decent tyres...
Stuff like Toyo and Kumho are "ok" but they're not as good, I've used them in the past and would rather pay extra for the top brands.
I run Michelin Pilot Sport 4's on all four corners of mine. I've been really impressed by the grip in all Weathers and the durability, I've only used 1mm in 13k miles!
Tyres are the most important part of a car, and, they were on offer at Camskill - I paid under ÂŁ80 per tyre!
