I have never seen an actual 100% confirmed solution to this, the specs of the oil don't appear on the bottle.

@oilman you have any input on this? Is there something that matches Honda MTF3 specs?

MTF3 is for Honda i-SHIFT cars.

Well if thats the case someone needs to tell Honda dealers they are selling the wrong oil.

For an 8th Gen Civic the Honda MTF alternative is a 75w-80 gear oil meeting API GL4 ideally being synthetic for best performance.

What brands do you have available to you?
