That cars finished, remove the undertrays and it'll be completely rotten out.

Look for another one. I'd steer clear of ones already on a replacement rear beam, they're rotten.

Ive seen plenty ive replaced the rear axles on and the chassis and body has been great even under the plastics
you cant blanket statement like that
i think were forgetting here that the newest 8th gen is in and around 14yrs old now some rust will be present .
By the way im not saying buy that one by any means

 

Agreed, plenty of better examples out there. If your going to look at a "mint" example. Take a small mirror (or put your phone on selfie mode, and have a look underneath. Places like the sills, rear boot floor/tow hook area.
